There is a dedicated “Family Picnic Area” spot which is located in close proximity to the kids jungle gym and kids are welcome to order off of a kiddies menu making this the ideal family friendly picnic spot on the Cape Point Vineyards plot. This lovely wine estate located along the R44 in Stellenbosch offers you a gourmet picnic experience. The picnic baskets are filled with gourmet foods and will cost you R550 for two people sharing and R300 for a single adult. Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens is a beautiful natural venue in Cape Town. The best part of this lovely picnic spot is that you are welcome to bring your own picnic basket with you, or you can also order a pre-made basket from Moyo or the Kirstenbosch Tea Room. The Kirstenbosch Tea Room picnic basket includes a sandwich, salad, dessert and drink, and will cost R250 per person. Moyo has various picnic basket options which range in price from R185-R295 per person. They also offer a picnic basket for two for R450.
