When visiting Aviva Accommodation, you are spoilt for choice for adventures in and around Cape Town. Although Cape Town offers you such a large variety, you need not even travel far to experience an incredible meal. Table View and Blouberg is filled with little restaurant gems that cater to a wide variety of tastes and suits all pockets with weekly specials on offer at most of these establishments.

Why not visit Carlucci's Table View in Athens Road for a yummy breakfast before you begin your busy day in the Mother City? You are guaranteed a delicious breakfast overlooking breath taking views of Table Mountain from Table View beachfront. There is a selection of 10 different breakfast options as well as Gourmet Smoothies, juices, coffees and yummy croissants. Carlucci’s is also open for lunch with a selection of salads, wraps, and gourmet sandwiches and burgers on offer. Carlucci’s has become a firm favourite with locals for their breakfasts and great hospitality.

If you are looking for an authentic Italian Restaurant, look no further than Forneria Italia, located on the corner of Raats and Dianthus Street in Table View. With reviews boasting about “the best pizza in Cape Town” being found at this little gem, it is no wonder that locals and visitors a like love to visit Forneria Italia habitually. A reservation is not essential but we do suggest that you book to avoid waiting for a table. Just be sure to draw cash before going to the restaurant, as there are unfortunately no credit card facilities.

Visit Jerry’s Burger Bar in Athens Road for local is lekker fresh and delicious burgers with a twist. With a view looking out onto Table View beach and across the bay to Table Mountain, Jerry’s will not disappoint. With exceptional reviews for their burgers, Jerry’s offers you a selection of starters, salads, ribs, wings & tacos, “Jerry dogs” and their infamous burgers. There is also a great selection of desserts, beers, wines and kiddy meals. There are 17 burgers to choose from, so you can visit Jerrry’s over and over and never be bored.

If you are looking for an evening filled with bursts of flavours inspired from around the world with a touch of elegance, Homespun by Matt is your perfect choice. Homespun has been highly praised on EatOut.co.za with a nod to Matt’s bistro giving top Cape Town City central bistros a run for their money. It is important to reserve a table in advance to ensure that you aren’t left disappointed on a busy night. There is an A La Carte Menu or Our Chef’s Table. The Fat Greek in Porterfield Road is a newly established restaurant in Table View with a Greek menu to die for. The lamb dish is a favourite with regulars and comes highly recommended. We suggest that you do book a table but it is not essential to dine at The Fat Greek. The Fat Greek is open from 12H00 until 23H00 for lunch and dinner and also offers takeaways if you would prefer to enjoy the evening in the comforts of Aviva Accommodation.

For a sweet treat, why not visit Blouberg Beach and grab some delicious pancakes from Frank & Phyl’s Pancake Place. Operating from their caravan, their pancakes are made to order guaranteeing freshness every time and affordability.
